Happy weekend!
Diego’s very happy about his sister’s clean bill of health. The two of them have informed me that they plan to spend a relaxing weekend following the sunbeams through the apartment.
I do have to work this weekend, but I’ll be scheduling in some knitting breaks. I finally got back to the v-neck tank and am buzzing along on that, two rows per work break. I might even have it done by the end of the weekend. It’s my first v-neck, and I must say it’s rather cool to watch the two sides of the neck grow apart. Then again, I’m easily amused.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Cari, I LOVE this photograph. Of course, there are the snuggling dogs — so adorable. Then, look at all your knitting needles in the sun! And the quilt! Did you make that? It’s really beautiful! Plus a comfy chair, a happy plant — there’s just so much good stuff in this picture. 🙂 Happy weekend to you too.

Thanks, Rachael. It’s a huge relief!
Alison, I WISH I made that quilt. Billy’s (the boyfriend) mom spent the last three years in the Peace Corps in Ivory Coast. She brought the quilt back for us this past winter. A friend of hers there, a dressmaker, makes these quilts from the scraps of her hand-dyed/batiked fabrics leftover from making clothing for customers. And that’s my cozy knitting corner. I love it. 🙂

yup, they love to snuggle like that. We were very lucky that they hit it off so well when I first brought Sadie home.
