I’m Back….sort of
Well, we’re moved and all is more or less well. I’m writing this from a really shaky dialup connection that boots me off every five minutes or so. If all goes well, the dsl should be installed in a couple of weeks. At first it looked like I wouldn’t be able to get broadband at all, so I’m not going to complain TOO much about this awful temporary connection. I’m WAY behind on email, since I’m just back online now today. I’ll try to catch up with it in the next day or so. If I owe you a reply, please be assured that I’m not ignoring anyone.
Oy vey. The house is wonderful. We’re madly in love with it. But man are we tired. I’ll write a longer post later, hopefully with some pictures. There’ll be laughter, tears, the story about how my box of Rowan Wool Cotton, intended for Kyoto, went missing in the move and I think it’s gone forever…all this and more soon. I promise.
For now, thanks so much for the good wishes. I hope to be able to make the rounds and read everyone else’s blogs again soon. Maybe even later today! Ooh! I’ve missed you all.
Yay!!!!! Congrats! I’ve been restraining myself about writing, as I knew you’d probably not be able to reply anyway.
I want details just as soon as you’re rested!!

Rowan–GONE? Nooooooooooooooooooo. (Of course, I read this and thought, “Why is Cari sending yarn to Japan? Oh. Kyoto the *sweater.*”)
I was, however, happy to see today’s date on your blog! Take care, toots (yep, I’m channeling my grandparents today).

yarn missing?!? oh hell no!
oh. um. welcome home. 🙂

Hee! I, like Em, thought “Hey, yarn for Alison? But she’s in Taipei, not Kyoto…..” And then I got it. That’s HORRIBLE. Hopefully it’s only made a detour and will come home repentant and thirsty.
So happy you’re home, dear. I know it’ll be crazy for a long time, but you’re home.
love to you.

I was thinking, why is she storing yarn in Japan? Oy vey, this knitting stuff is confusing. I can’t wait to see pictures of the house, and I’m so glad that you love it. Rest up, unpack, get cozy, and blog whenever possible! xo
