matching is a state of mind
Here are MC’s sock and a half. Not so much matching as coordinating, but I’m rather pleased with the effect. At least for now I’m pleased with it.
The second sock is closer to my previous Lorna’s Laces experiences than the first is. The first sock surprised me by striping so regularly. I think I like the wild sorta zebra-y stripes of the second one better. I briefly (very briefly) considered restarting the second one in an attempt to get it to match the first…but nah. I like it, and so will MC, I suspect. He did want fun socks, after all.
Those are definitely fun socks. Fiesta, fiesta!

They look fantastic! I like the zebra-striping too, but I really like the first sock’s move from regular stripes to zebra stripes on the foot. This makes me wanna whip out the Lorna’s I’ve got in the stash and start my own!

Fraternal twin socks are better…its not boring to knit sock number 2!

Fun indeed. I always prefer ‘coordinating’ over ‘matching’ m’self so much more interesting. I’m curious to see if the second sock turns out to be the mirror image of the first, with regular skinny stripes on the foot.
One of these days I REALLY have to get over my Sock Fear and just try the damn things.
