The happiest feet in all the land

Look what just came through the mail slot: An adorable dog calendar and a mysterious silver package:

I wonder what could possibly be inside… Why…it’s the greatest socks in all the land!!! Don’t believe me? Have a look:

The wonderful, fabulous Silvia knit these for me! Can you possibly imagine better colors for my feet? No, I can’t either. And they are flawlessly knitted AND feature the fantastic picot edge that I’ve so coveted on all socks made by the fabulous Silvia’s fabulous sister. I think it’s time for me to learn how to do this picot hem stuff. I’ll never do a ribbed cuff again (well, except for boy socks. Billy probably wouldn’t appreciate a picot cuff.)

Thanks Silvia! I LOVE them.

  3. I sure hope the fit! It turns out to be really worrying that they won’t be big/small enough. I knew I had to get red/orange yarn for your socks. You inspire thoughts of hot reds…hee…that’s from one redhead to another.
