It’s weird isn’t it – how taking and sharing baby pictures is such an instant part of new parenthood? I can’t stop. It’s like an addiction.

I forgot to ask: Has he smiled yet? If I’m recalling correctly, Abigail was exactly one month old when she smiled. The thing that would do it was for me to repeatedly kiss her cheeks and make a moomoomoomoomoo noise. That was a fun game. 🙂

I’m always amazed when babies have such great hair right out of the gate. In our family they’ve all been born looking like thumbs — sort of bald and bland. He’s a darling.
How are the dogs doing with their new family member?

Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute, cute, cute. . .
You make me long for the day. But alas, 15 years later we have hairy legs a deep voice and dates in Soho with girls. . .sigh.

Isn’t it funny, no matter which angles I use, the baby pictures are just FULL of cheeks? Thumper’s a real lady killer! 🙂

For us, with our first, it was either singing “Boola Boola” or saying “po-TAY-to” (No one claimed babies or love were logical)

Oh Baby! He is getting big. He’ll be running around in no time!
