Stealth Knitting Revealed!

cariKnittyFall06ps305_1.jpg

So now you know what I’d been keeping from you with all that stealth knitting a few months back. I hope you like it! It was absolute hell not telling you about it. Or telling you about the two photo shoots, wearing a sweater in 90 degree heat. Or the saintly patience of photographer Melissa.

I’m posting this quickly from Cody, Wyoming. We’re about to head into Yellowstone for some camping. More posts from the road, including bringing you up to date from Austin, through New Mexico and Colorado, and on into Wyoming, in a few days. (Wyoming…oh my god is this place gorgeous…)

Yellowstone awaits. Talk to you in a few days.

  14. Tussiemussie – you used one of my favorite words! (I’m a sucker for old words. [g]) That is a beautimous cardigan! Must agree with Michelle – Wyoming is beautiful, especially the amazing mountains…but just wait until you approach Oregon from the East. Or the South; whatever, like I remember your exact plans? LOL; not with my memory! If you do come by way of the Gorge, get off the freeway around Hood River and cruise for roadside apple (and other fruit) stands. Just don’t buy those damned Red Delicious; the name’s a total advertising ploy and oxymoron. Delicious *suck*.

You’re driving straight into Indian Summer out here. Gorgeous warm days, occasional showers, cooler nights. And air so bright and clear it’s dazzling. Enjoy Wyoming!

  15. Oooh, pretty pretty! Maybe it’s time to really learn how to knit.

And a new word learned to boot! Apparently it’s not used in the Ozarks, southern California, or Texas… at least not around me.

And I visit your blog just about every day…(I have a Thumper habit). Loss of memory…such a sad thing.

  74. Well done, Cari! I love your sense of style. My new year’s resolution (which I haven’t had time to break yet) is to knit out of my stash and buy no new yarn. Fortunately my birthday coincided with new year’s and my dad sent me a nice check for knitting supplies. So I get to buy some new yarn since it’s my birthday present and some of it is going to make your fab cardigan!
