A latecomer to the contest

As you probably know by now, the winter Knitty is online. I immediately fell in love with Kyoto and decided I would have to make it as soon as possible. It’s officially on the take-with-me knitting list (as soon as the yarn arrives, anyway. There’s another package headed for the stable address of your house, Mom.) Of course, me being me, I’ve changed the yarn and the colors. I’m going to use Rowan Wool Cotton, because that yarn offers the EXACT colors I had in mind for this baby. A rich blue red for the upper portion, a not-too-grapey purple for the band, and a nice deep orange for the accent.

I may flip back and forth about this a few times before Friday, but at the moment I think it’ll be Siobhan and Kyoto for the upcoming projects. Whaddya think?
