A walk in Forest Park
Behold, a robin! Spring! Spring! Spring! (I love Spring) (Though now that I’ve typed it four times in quick succession, it’s starting to look really funny to me. Spring. SPRIIIIIINGGGGGGUH. Hunh.)
Cooing over the chicks at the Urban Farm store. We are seriously considering teaming up with Heather and another neighbor to get some chickens.
Our garden supervisor declares the garden ready for spring sowing. More on this year’s garden plans in the next post.
Yeah for spring! Looking forward to seeing your garden plans – we just turned under the cover crop and might put in peas.
Love the first pic with the Thumper peeking at the camera.
This contrasts with our foot of snow and frigid temperatures nicely. SPRINNGGUH WHERE ARE YOU?
Also I love the way the flash hits Thumper in the last photo. He looks like either a cardboard cut out or someone standing in front of a fake background.
You should so totally get chickens. That way I can experience them vicariously.
I envy you your spring. We have crocuses trying desperately to poke through the snow.
And when did Thumper get to be a little BOY? I keep thinking of him as a baby – ok, maybe a toddler. I think it’s the haircut. I’ve been browsing baby sweater patterns on Ravelry and keep seeing the picture where he modeled the Baby Yoda sweater…
Your boy is getting so big! Where did that time go??
And speaking of chickens, what about your other animals from back in the Dogsstealyarndays, are they still around to herd the birds?
Chickens rock. If you do decide to get chickens, make sure you get pullets. They grow up to be hens and don’t crow. But if you are seriously thinking about them, you probably already knew that. I can’t believe how Thumper has turned into a little boy, either. Wow.
OMG. All I can think is Thumper is SO big. And climbing rocks. And not a baby at all anymore. OMG.
Sometimes I feel a little embarrassed showing up here, as if I was supposed to be down at the garage tuning a muffler, or something, and accidently wandered into a mommys’ coffee group.
Anyway. What I came to say is that I enjoyed these Americana pictures; which means I must have now adjusted to Buenos Aires, where it is certainly summer and soon we will go to Autumn, about the time you go into Spring.
You sure do maintain an eclectic blog.
Whoa – i can’t believe how big Thumper is. What a lovely little boy.
I want chickens!
