A small (quite small) excerpt is now posted on The Owls, as part of their Stamps project.
Thanks to J. M. Tyree for selecting it. It’s nice to see some small part of the book out the world. It’s funny…it’s not a piece of the book I would have chosen to submit anywhere as an excerpt, but now that it’s up on the site, it does please me to see it there. It’s not all that representative of the novel as a whole, but it does give you a glimpse of the two main characters. Or of one main character thinking about the other, anyway. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for sharing. It is a good glimpse.
That’s some fantastic writing. I’m eager to read more!
I’m impressed by that, especially the mouse and the enormous human face. I’d certainly read more.
Nice. I was drawn in by your tight description.
Oh… That’s just lovely. I’m there. I want more, please.
Oh….
Don’t have time to read before I go to work, but it will be one of the first things I do when I get home!
so lovely.
Thank you. I want to read this book!
I was getting sucked in, and so sorry to see the fragment end….
lovely, esp. the “subtle language of doors and windows and furniture” and the field mice/human face. thank you.
*smile*
Ah, you write so beautifully.
Thinking of you today. Where you be at?
