  5. Happy New Year — so glad you’re enjoying my former state. Sometime next summer, you’ll have to take some time to visit the Joseph and Pendleton in the Northeast of the State, Crater Lake in the South, and Florence on the coast.

  17. Happy New Year to you and your family! I haven’t commented much, but I really enjoy your blog. Ah, the Oregon coast. How I miss it! If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend Yachats, about 20 miles south of Newport. It’s a gem of a little town on a spectacular stretch of the coast. We went there every chance we got when we lived in Seattle. Cheers!
