Last ditch effort

We know we can’t keep Oscar, that much is clear. Moving cross country certainly isn’t going to improve his behavioral problems. We’ve called around to all the rescue groups and no-kill shelters and everyone is full to overflowing with cats who DON’T have behavioral problems. Oscar needs more than we can give him right now. He needs a home without a baby and without a lot of house guests. Or he needs to be an outdoor cat somewhere where it’s safe to be an outdoor cat.

Anyone out there with room for Oscar in your life? Or do you know someone who might be able to take him? Please? The rescues are recommending we just put him down. I can’t imagine doing that, putting a healthy, affectionate young cat to sleep. But we can’t keep him. It just isn’t manageable. We’ve tried for a year, and…
