You’re going to look (and feel) fabulous in red silk. I can’t really get my head around “6% metal.” Metal?

Your dress is going to be amazing in that fabric! Wow!
Viscose is the same as rayon, which is actually a “natural” fiber, made from cellulose. Acrylic is manufactured and is actually made from a petrochemical. My favorite website which talks about all of these fibers and how they’re made is fibersource.com.

Skeleton: The Early Years?
Learning that you’re wearing a red silk dress to your wedding makes me incredibly happy. You are going to be stunning–not that you aren’t already, of course.
I really love the Dune colors–I made a scarf for Boston Sera with a different colorway and liked working with it a lot. Would be fun to mix in with other types of yarn, I think.

You know, Rene Magritte did a really interesting painting where each section of the woman’s body was a separate painting, framed on its own… which means that one part of it is a really odd photo of her, well, you know…
Your painting in progress looks very neat. And of course the wedding dress will be fab. Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) more about that.

Not only that, but your dress is going to be UNIQUE. I had my dress made by a designer, and my headpiece by a bead designer. To this day, I love looking back at the pictures. I enjoyed picking out the silk for the dress myself, and the fittings were a great part of the fun, too. Enjoy it all!
