The life-affirming stuff
Dogs asleep in a sun spot on the first really warm Saturday of the year:
A growing baby blanket for a beloved nephew:
A husband who’ll rock out to “Psychotic Reaction” while wearing gaboinga gaboingas on his head and then let me not only photograph it but also post the photo on my blog:
Beautiful! All so beautiful!

Wow, that’s an impressive yarn stash behind the hubby there!

Now there’s a man! Does he have a brother?

A cool man and an even more cooler stash. What a lucky girl!

Hey man, nice gaboinga gaboingas!
Posted by: Iris
Oh, the cuteness of dogs! The cuteness of men in gaboinga gaboingas! The abundance of yarn! Its true, I am affirmed by association!

If only humans would learn to relax in sunny spots! Dogs are so much smarter than we are….:)

Great pic of the hubby, so cute! I love the blanket 🙂

Ah, happiness.

Aha, *that’s* what I need…a pair of gaboinga gaboingas… (and that stash is really impressive :-))
Posted by: Lee Ann
Love it, and I can really notice is that pile of stash behind Billy! Wow! 🙂

I swear to you I was going to say this: “Ah, happiness.” And then I read the comments and saw that Rachael beat me to it, verbatim. But I’ll say it anyway. And also observe that sometimes the unpleasantness a la the last post are good for something, and that is for helping us to realize that we’ve got The Good Stuff, we really do.

Nice pics! Happy animals, funny husbands, and loads of yarn — life is good.

“Gaboinga gaboingas” is such a great name! I’ve always called them “deely boppers”, but I have been converted!

Heeheehee, Gaboingas.
And I know everyone has said this, but *ahem* your stash is showing sweetie 😉 Might wanna cover that up before I invade and start going through it touching everything!
Posted by: Amber
Damn that’s a helluva stash you have. 🙂 Now I don’t feel so bad about mine. Nice pics of the doggies, blankie, and hubby.
BTW, how’s the book coming along?

Nothing in life is better than a husband how can rock;-)

Hey I see your yarn stash back there behind your hubby! VERY cool baby blanket. I admire the tenacity it must take to finish that big thing!

adorable dogs, beautiful sweater, nice husband, but honestly I’m more interested in the stash behind him!

When you say “Psychotic Reaction”, do you mean the song by the Count Five? Because if so, you just blew me right back to my 60’s garage punk loving days like you wouldn’t belive and I thank you.
If not, it’s a great song that you should know about. I’m going to look for it on the internets right now.
Either way, dude’s got great gaboingas and he knows how to use them.

Now really people, you know you noticed the stash before you EVEN REALIZED there was a human in the picture. WOW! What an awesome stash! Your husbands way cool too.

Now do I get my Knitter’s Club card ripped up if I admit that I was checking out your husband and his cute shiny balls and didn’t even realise there was stash in the picture until reading the comments?
But since I’ve moved the comments box aside to take a closer look at the picture, I’ll contribute a “how huge!”
(No, not really, right? Not compared to Amy Boogie’s, but I really do believe that it isn’t the size, it’s how you use it)
I love the pic of your suncatchers. I love the smell of sunwarmed houndfur.

Lovely pups, lovely blankie, lovely husband (don’t worry, I’ve got my own) — but what do my eyes fly to immediately?! Why, that gorgeous Wall of Yarn behind the rockin’ out husband! I’m so jealous!

I thought I was being so clever to have noticed the stash in the background…well, a bunch of knitters, after all. 🙂
I like the pineapple sherbet color on the walls too.
