Is it possible for a toothache to hurt more than labor, or have I already fallen under the spell of euphoric recall? I mean, at least there’s a bit of space between contractions. This tooth, on the other hand, is relentless and doesn’t care how I breathe or how much I relax. <\/p>\n
I made it through four days of labor before turning to pain medication (and then only because I needed pitocin. And I was off all narcotics 24 hours after the c-section. Why, yes, actually I DO want a medal, thanks. This six-inch scar isn’t nearly as shiny as a trophy and I can’t put it on the mantel.). I made it through ten minutes of toothache before crying for advil and anbesol.<\/p>\n
Anyway, off we go to see the dentist. Billy will meet us there to amuse Thumper while I get fixed up. Hopefully I’ll have something of interest to offer you tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
