Afghan Women’s Writing Project

Writer Masha Hamilton has recently established the Afghan Women’s Writing Project, which gives Afghan women access to online writing classes and allows them an opportunity to have their voices heard. I’ll be one of the teachers, and I’m excited to get started.

Work from the classes will be posted regularly on the blog. Do take a look. Bookmark it. Link to it. These women have important stories to tell.

I’ve already read some of the women’s stories. The stories are incredibly powerful, and the women themselves are so courageous. I will spread the word.
